Driving through Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California.

Since it opened in 2000, the Oresund bridge between Sweden and Denmark has been a towering symbol of European integration and hassle-free travel across borders that people did not even notice were there. New travel restrictions imposed by Sweden to stem a record flow of migrants are transforming the bridge into a striking example of how national boundaries are re-emerging. A year of clampdowns on migration and terrorism has all but killed the idea of a borderless Europe where you could drive or train-hop from Spain in the south to Norway in the north without ever having to show your passport.

Norway is a land of natural beauty. A voyage along the spectaculair Norwegian fjords and coastlines. From Stavanger to Geiranger.

Westervoort hosted the world premiere of Waterlight by Daan Roosegaarde. The Northern lights of the Netherlands consists of wavy lines of light across an area of over 4 acres.

A photography roadtrip together with a group of great people and award winning photographer Loulou Beavers. That's the way to experience something. And to learn something. That fingers really can freeze. That a snowstorm can blow you of a mountain. That you can easily lose a camera in the surf. That Northern lights really are f#cking magical. And that iceland gets under your skin. 

19 june 1815. This is what the battle of Waterloo looked like. At Hougoumont, a huge re-enactment of the battle took place in the same Belgian fields where Napoleon's army was defeated, 200 years ago.

Take a closer look at the sky and a whole new world becomes apparent. A world were giant airliners surrounded by sinister clouds suddenly look like small and fragile toys. Fasten your seat belts and prepare for a turbulent journey.

As a winner of the Reizen Magazine photography contest, I won a trip to Navarra, Spain. To make a photo-reportage that will be published in the mag. Together with two other prize winners (photographers) and a photographer of the Reizen Magazine we traveled the diverse region. Forget the costa's, discover Navarra. 

I also look for photo opportunities in Amsterdam and other urban areas. Urban landscapes are vibrant and worth discovering.

I travelled through time and took with me….my camera. 

This set was shot at Venus. A planet inhabited by women. I found a garden where everyone got together to celebrate some kind of mysterious event. They all came down from the sky.
